Travel Nurse RN - Critical Care / ICU

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide advanced patient care in both ICU and PCU units at our facility in Lufkin, TX. This role involves managing complex conditions such as cardiac post-surgical patients, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and respiratory failure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critically ill patients in ICU and PCU settings.
• Titrate critical drips and manage ventilators.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float between ICU and PCU as needed, with patient ratios of 2:1 in ICU and 4:1 in PCU.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.
• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in managing ICU-level patients and titratable drips.
