Travel Nurse RN - Critical Care / ICU

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Critical Care to provide advanced patient care in a busy acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to rapid changes in condition
• Titrate critical drips such as Levophed, Amiodarone, Heparin, and others
• Manage patients requiring respiratory support like ventilators and BiPAP
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including intensivists, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists
• Work in ICU and PCU units with patient ratios of 2:1 and 4:1
• Use charting system Paragon
• Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as cardiac post-surgery, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Critical Care experience
• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience managing ICU patients and titratable drips
• Ability to float between ICU and PCU units
