Travel Nurse RN - Critical Care / ICU

Responsibilities

• Monitoring critically ill patients
• Managing titratable drips such as Levophed and Amiodarone
• Supporting patients with respiratory needs like ventilators and BiPAP
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Responding swiftly to changing conditions
• Ensuring optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum 3 years of Critical Care experience
• Active RN license
• Required BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience managing ICU-level patients and titratable drips
• Ability to float between ICU and PCU units

Unit Details

ICU beds: 24; PCU beds: 26. Patient ratios: ICU 2:1 or 3:1, PCU 4:1. Charting system: Paragon.

Key Duties

• Provide critical care in ICU and PCU settings
• Respond to patient changes promptly
• Manage complex conditions including post-cardiac procedures, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and support services
