This position involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill children across multiple units, including Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health in line with established standards and hospital values. Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care - ICU Float Location: Phoenix, AZ (multiple hospital sites including Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley) Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in pediatric critical care; Level III or IV NICU hospital experience and childrens hospital experience preferred. Education Requirements: Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year (BSN) degree, or Diploma Nursing degree. Licenses and Certifications: Current State of Arizona RN license or multistate license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, PALS certification from the American Heart Association, and current Advanced NRP certification. Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Start Date: 09/28/2026, end date 03/28/2027 Additional Information: This assignment may float between multiple units, including CVICU, NICU, and PICU, with shifts available during days and nights. Respiratory virus season protocols require masking and vaccination declinations if applicable.
