Travel Nurse RN - Critical Care Float - $2,440 per week
Job Summary
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) floating assignments is being sought for a facility located in Portland, Maine. The role involves providing critical patient care across multiple ICU departments, including neuro ICU, surgical/trauma ICU, cardiac ICU, and cardiac intensive care units, on a flexible floating basis. The position supports a dynamic team environment, emphasizing outstanding patient care, communication, and adaptability to varied unit needs.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with start date of 08/10/2026.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- 3 years of ICU experience
- Able to float to SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, & CICU
- Experience caring for sedated, intubated, and pressor patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional ICU experience preferred
- Excellent team communication skills
- Flexibility
- Focus on patient outcomes
Float
- Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on HCP (Health Care Professional) experience
- Floating to any IMC (Intermediate Care) at the organization, with patient ratios typically 1:2 or 1:3 in ICU units
