This position involves providing specialized nursing care in pediatric critical care settings, with the flexibility to float between various units including Cardiac-Vascular Intensive Care (CVICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care for children in a fast-paced hospital environment. Job Details Location: Multiple sites including the main hospital and outpatient facilities in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Schedule: Rotating shifts, including day and night shifts, with 12-hour shift duration and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Current State of Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, two years' experience as an RN in pediatric critical care, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, current PALS certification from the American Heart Association, and current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Education requirements include a two-year (Associate Degree in Nursing), four-year (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), or Diploma Nursing degree. Responsibilities: Delivering professional nursing care tailored to pediatric patients' age and condition, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team, and maintaining compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. Schedule details vary, and only shifts discussed during the interview will be pre-approved.
