Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Registered Nurse position in an unspecified location. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across various units, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and policies. Required Qualifications

• Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom.
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
• Epic experience.
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
• Ability to be detail oriented in examination of clinical and numerical data.

Additional Information

The Registered Nurse utilizes independent judgment in planning the sequence of operations and making minor decisions in a complex technical or professional field. Works directly with patients, internal and external customers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Attends mandatory in-services, meets education standards, and completes variance reports accurately. Supports unit and hospital goals through performance improvement and educational activities.

Schedule

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
