Travel Nurse RN - Clinic - $2,645 per week

About the role

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Clinic position in Syracuse, New York. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
• Support patient scheduling and administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an RN in a Clinic or Outpatient setting
• Current BLS certification
• Eligible for State licensure
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
• Organized, communicative, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
