About the role
This Clinic (No Specific Specialty) position is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. The role involves working in a urology outpatient clinic setting, providing patient care and assisting with procedures. The clinic operates an acute care setting with a 24/7 inpatient pharmacy and uses the EPIC charting system. The unit features 6 clinic beds and 4 procedure rooms, with patient ratios of approximately 33-40 patients per day managed by a team including 2 nurses, 1 certified surgical technician, and 1 CNA. Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
Schedule
Daytime hours Monday - Friday vary, with staff rotating shifts: 0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700, or 0900-1730. Minimum 40 hours per week.
Floating to other departments within the specialty clinics may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a urology outpatient clinic
- Assist with procedures
- Set up sterile fields (preferred)
- Place catheters (preferred)
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with urology conditions such as BPH, Hematuria, UTI, LUTS, Frequency, Cystoscopy, and Prostate biopsy
