Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse position in a neuroscience unit at a healthcare facility in Richmond, Virginia. Start date: 10/26/2026; Duration: 13 weeks. The role provides skilled nursing care to patients post‑spine surgery, during lumbar punctures, and epilepsy monitoring, with a focus on telemetry and NIHSS competencies.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on a 23‑bed neuroscience unit.
• Provide post‑operative spine surgery care.
• Perform lumbar punctures and epilepsy monitoring.
• Utilize telemetry equipment and the Meditech electronic medical record.
• Maintain a typical patient ratio of 4‑5:1 in a team‑oriented environment that emphasizes positive personality traits and teamwork.
• Remain flexible to switch to day shifts if requested in advance and be available for weekend coverage.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS competency.
• Telemetry competencies.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience.

Schedule

Day shift, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
