Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients before surgery, review medical histories, and verify surgical details.
• Assist with sterile setup, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Document intraoperative events, monitor patient responses, and manage emergencies using ACLS protocols.
• Support postoperative transfer, monitor for complications, and provide patient and family education.
• Ensure sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team, advocate for patient safety, and participate in ongoing professional development.
