Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical teams
• Prepare operating rooms
• Assemble equipment and supplies
• Ensure sterile procedures
• Absorb patient positioning
• Maintain patient status during procedures
• Handle specimens accurately
• Cook up post-surgical patient care coordination
• Respond effectively to intraoperative emergencies
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent minimum of one year CVOR RN experience
• Valid RN license according to state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification, with ACLS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail
• Proficiency in English and basic PC skills
