Travel nursing assignment in Marquette, Michigan for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit.

Duration: 13 weeks, starting 09/28/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Facility Department: Medical Surgical Telemetry (Cost Center 317360501). Trauma Level 2.

Unit Information

• 36 beds
• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 for Cardiac patients, 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown population
• Telemetry monitoring equipment
• EHR: Cerner
• Supervisors: Calleigh Gomoll (Manager) and Cherlynn Erickson (Director)
• Patient population: Cardiac with trauma and stepdown level of care, Telemetry
• Common diagnoses/treatments: Chest pain, VATS, Stroke/TIA, Pre & Post Open Heart Surgery, Pacemakers, Heart Blocks, Vascular, CHF

Responsibilities

• Care for Cardiac PCU and stepdown patient populations
• Manage chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac drips
• Float as needed
• Work every other weekend
• On-call only if census is low

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing
• Experience with Cardiac patient populations

Preferred Qualifications

• PCU/Stepdown patient population experience
• Low-level ICU skills

Dress Code

• Scrub color: Blue or Navy
• Unacceptable attire: Blue jeans
