About the role

The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) position in Shelby, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care within a Level 3 Trauma Center that is also a Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center, supporting the department with skills in moderate sedation and intra/post-procedure care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including moderate sedation and intra/post-procedure care.
• Support department operations with necessary technology and equipment, including EPIC electronic medical record, Alaris infusion pump, and Omnicell medication dispensing system.
• Participate in weekend rotation, on-call shifts, and holiday work (75% of holidays).

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 1 year of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab specialty.

Schedule

• Start Date: 09/21/2026 • End Date: 12/19/2026.
• 8-hour day shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• 2-day department-specific orientation.
• Weekend rotation and on-call shifts required.
