Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $3,015 per week
Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory or Critical Care area to join the team in Passaic, New Jersey. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations within a Cardiovascular Lab setting.
Job Details
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and to be maintained current.
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
- License: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
- Experience: One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
Schedule
Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Adds psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
- Communicates with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition.
- Aids in equipment and inventory maintenance.
- Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
- Obtains supplies for cases and ensures all needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
- Maintains monitoring of physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintains and records patient condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
- Participates in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
