Travel Nurse - CVOR

Role Overview: Experienced registered nurse specializing in cardiac surgery, providing expert intraoperative support in open-heart procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and heart transplants. Responsible for maintaining aseptic techniques, managing complex sterile setups for cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), and operating specialized cardiovascular technology. Must be capable of rapid-response interventions during emergencies like massive hemorrhage or cardiac arrest. Key Responsibilities Scrub or circulate for complex cardiac surgeries.Ensure sterile environment and manage specialized equipment.Assist with intraoperative emergency procedures.Manage intraoperative technology including cell savers and bypass monitoring. Qualifications & Skills Valid RN license with a diploma from an accredited nursing program.Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting.BLS certification within 30 days of hire.Preferred: Over one year of acute care experience and relevant certifications. Additional Requirements: Proficiency in sterile techniques, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and familiarity with cardiovascular surgical technology.
