About the Role
Provide high-acuity perioperative care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients as a traveling RN in the CVOR.
Responsibilities
- Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse during complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure safe equipment use.
- Accurately document perioperative activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
- Support patient and family education throughout the perioperative process.
- Adapt quickly to different hospital settings while upholding compassionate and inclusive care standards.
Requirements
- Experienced RN with perioperative and CVOR expertise.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, learning-focused environment.
