Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job
Overview
This travel temporary assignment starts on 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shifts are 8x5 Days (eight-hour days). The position is in a hospital setting, and weekly pay ranges from $2,925 to $3,146. Siemens Symbia T6 equipment will be in use, and the assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures (bone scans, SPECT, PET/CT as assigned) under physician orders
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring correct dosing, labeling, and safety protocols
- Operate Siemens Symbia T6 imaging systems; conduct quality control and image acquisition; document results in the EMR
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, verify orders, confirm patient identifiers, and obtain consent as needed
- Maintain adherence to radiation safety standards (ALARA), infection control, and department policies; collaborate with radiologists and the care team
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- CNMT certification required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- 2 recent manager references and a skills checklist matching the specialty
- EMR experience; Cerner experience preferred
- RTO must be included at time of submission; resume must reflect years of specialty experience and travel experience
