About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 2, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures to them.
- Operate equipment to perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and safely.
- Record patient data and monitor patient responses during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Kentucky.
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Current registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist program.
Skills
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
