Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Los Alamitos, California.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, including administering radioactive tracers and positioning patients appropriately.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in California.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in nuclear medicine.
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
