About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Presque Isle, Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging studies.
  • Operate equipment to administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Maine.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection regulations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer systems used in healthcare settings.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
