About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
- Accurately administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses.
- Operate equipment to acquire images and ensure image quality.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Nebraska.
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Completion of an accredited program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
