About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hazard, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Prepare patients for imaging studies
- Operate equipment to administer radioactive tracers and capture images
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
Requirements
- Current state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Passing score on the Nuclear Medicine Technologist exam
