About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Passaic, New Jersey. The start date is ASAP and the duration is 13 weeks with a 40-hour workweek.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures
- Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and ensure their safety
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New Jersey
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
