About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, including positioning and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least one year of relevant experience in nuclear medicine.
