About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 31, 2026, in Hilo, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Accurately document patient information and results in medical records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and develop treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Hawaii.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills

Pay
The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
