About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures
- Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses
- Record patient data accurately and document findings
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of New Mexico
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist exam

Pay
The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
