Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,826 per week

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 14-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
• Accurately administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patients during imaging sessions.
• Document patient information and results accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Kentucky.
• Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
