About the role
LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Hartford, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Accurately document patient information and results in the medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide clinical guidance.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications

- Passport required for international travel.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
