About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week position starting immediately in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
- Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patient vital signs during and after the procedure.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Nebraska.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Skills
- Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Pay
The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
