About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week position starting immediately in Omaha, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
  • Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patient vital signs during and after the procedure.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Nebraska.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
