About the role
Health Carousel - Travel Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, including positioning and administering radioactive tracers.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current license/certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly those used in medical settings.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
