About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics professional to join their team at a teaching hospital in Charleston, SC. This position will be based out of the NICU and involves performing diagnostic procedures and providing respiratory care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures such as extubation and monitoring of neurological patients
• Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Pediatric Critical Care
• Experience with pediatric patients
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Critical Care practices

Skills

• Extubation skills
• Experience with NICU and Pediatric Critical Care
• Strong skills in Pediatrics
