Job Summary

Aya Healthcare is seeking a RRT-NICU in Tacoma, WA. This position offers a competitive salary range of $2500.08 to $2693.40 weekly for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are nights, with a schedule of 3, 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 06:30.

About the Role

This role involves providing respiratory therapy services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The candidate will be responsible for administering treatments, monitoring patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Administering respiratory treatments to neonatal patients
  • Maintaining patient records and documentation
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Adhering to infection control protocols

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • One year of relevant experience in NICU settings
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current CPR certification

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for pediatric care

Skills

  • Proficiency in using the Epic charting system
