About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics professional to join their team in New Brunswick, NJ. This position will be working in the NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory and neurodiagnostic procedures under supervision
• Assist with intubation and extubation as needed
• Manage tracheostomy care and perform related procedures
• Collect sputum specimens and perform nasal airway management
• Provide high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and ventilator management
• Troubleshoot and manage alarms associated with ventilators
• Wean patients from mechanical ventilation as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• RRT certification preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of adult critical care and related procedures

• Current license to practice in New Jersey
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
