About the role

Provides respiratory and neuro diagnostic services in the NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough assessments of patients to identify respiratory and neurological issues.
• Performs diagnostic tests such as pulse oximetry, arterial blood gas analysis, and EEGs.
• Documents findings and communicates results to healthcare providers.
• Maintains accurate patient records and ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Current Florida Respiratory Therapist license.
• One year of relevant experience in NICU settings preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using Meditech charting system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory and neurological disorders.
• Skilled in performing diagnostic procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
