About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Marcos, Texas.
Schedule
- 13-week duration
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Start date: 09/21/2026
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
- Current STABLE certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
- Current NRP certification required
- Active RN License in the state of Texas or compact
