American Traveler is seeking a travel Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU for a night shift contract position in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU. Discipline: Allied Health Professional. Start Date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights, 3 shifts per week. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care and infant transport services in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting.
• Transport infants to/from referral health systems.
• Use Epic EMR for documentation and order entry.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic treatments.
• Assist physicians.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
• Identify and document significant changes in patient condition and communicate with care team.
• Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action per protocol.
• Complete documentation including order entry, EMR charting, and incident reports.
• Process patient charges and verify reports as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, and maintain respiratory equipment per protocol.
• Deliver high‑quality critical care in accordance with organizational patient care guidelines.

Requirements

• Respiratory Therapist license (if applicable).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Less than 1 year of experience required.

Schedule
