Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,130 per week
Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position involves floating between units, primarily providing specialized care to neonatal patients under the age of 2. The role requires flexibility to support patient needs across multiple units and adherence to specific clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license;
- At least 1 year of nursing experience;
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP);
- Experience with neonatal care procedures including invasive monitoring, ventilator management, and medication administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit;
- Charting system proficiency in Epic;
- Prior float between units with neonatal patients.
Float
Float rotation may be required between units, including pediatric units for patients under the age of 2.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be willing to work during variable weekends, with a commitment to working 3 out of 5 designated holidays.
- Orientation consists of 24 hours.
- Candidates should be able to manage ventilators, invasive procedures, and neonatal-specific equipment.
