About the role
A travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care is needed for a 8-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
Responsibilities
- Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the post-partum period.
- Care for both moms and their newborns after delivery.
- Maintain monitoring of mothers and ensure proper recovery.
- Recognize and address postpartum depression, teaching new moms coping strategies.
- Teach new parents on how to care for, bathe, breastfeed, or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor the infant's health.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
