Travel Neuro Medical-Surgical RN - $2,085 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care to patients in a neurosciences unit. The unit caters to patients with neurological disorders and post-operative needs, particularly regarding surgeries involving the spine and deep brain stimulation. The RN will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and manage patient IV therapy.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and neurological status.
- Document all patient interactions and changes in condition using EPIC.
- Cook up with physicians and support staff regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required, ACLS preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC and strong neuro experience, including familiarity with G-tubes.
- Recent experience with telemetry monitoring is necessary; RNs are not required to read strips but must verify monitor tech reports.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
