About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Metairie, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across the unit
- Attend C-sections
- Intra-hospital patient transports required
- Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, with a 4x12-hour schedule preferred; 36/48 rotating schedule may be considered
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Requirements
- CRTT or RRT credential required; pending LA license may be considered for August starts
- Active LA license required if applicable
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (NRP required for NICU work)
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
