Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT, NICU) - $3,029 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 48 hours per week
• Shifts include NICU, adult ICU/stepdown, emergency department, and pediatric units
• Required to float across various units based on patient acuity
• Every other weekend and every other holiday on-call
• 3 on-call shifts per 6-week period
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
• Charting via Epic
• Scrub color: Wine

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS may be pending at start with a 90-day window to obtain)
• CRTT certification required
• VA license required; proof of VA license application submitted alongside another state license (non-national) is acceptable
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, ABGs, O2 therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizers
• Adult critical care, ER, and community hospital experience required
• License required if applicable

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
