Description

Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
Level 3 Nursery and NICU patient population
Intra-hospital patient transports required
Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule is 4x12-hour shifts with a preference for 48 hours per week; 36/48 rotating schedule also considered
Every other weekend required
2 Fridays scheduled per 4-week rotation
No on-call required

Requirements

• CRTT or RRT certification required
• Active Louisiana (LA) state license required (license required if applicable)
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Level 3 Nursery experience required
• Must be able to attend C-sections
• Sponsorship reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform respiratory therapy services across inpatient units including the NICU
• Conduct intra-hospital patient transports as needed
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
