About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit. The role requires remote monitoring experience, with a focus on stroke (neuro) patient population. The nurse will provide specialized care to patients with multiple co-morbidities while ensuring adherence to best practices in telemetry and general nursing protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with various telemetry needs.
- Manage feeding tubes and IV access protocols.
- Administer blood products and manage central/peripheral line care.
- Provide wound care and ensure isolation precautions are observed.
- Cookordination with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; telemetry experience preferred.
- Active RN license required upon submission.
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
