About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics, primarily in a medical-surgical unit. The role requires passing a mandatory EKG exam during the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Manage and administer blood products, medications, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs, perform assessments, and interpret EKG rhythms.
- Utilize rapid response teams and engage in emergency protocols when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
- Floate across all Cone Health facilities as required.
- May be assigned Charge RN duties on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
- Experience with the EPIC charting system is preferred.
- Previous Charge RN experience is required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position requires a 3x12-hour schedule, working day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Weekend and holiday rotation is mandatory.
