Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, 3x12 hours, with weekend coverage every other weekend. 36 hours per week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work on an inpatient unit specializing in stroke and TIA patients, providing high-acuity medical-surgical care as needed. The role involves working to enhance patient experience and quality of care, while also floating to other units based on the need and skill set.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications via an Omnicell system.
- Manage care for patients with various conditions including stroke, respiratory failure, and acute kidney failure.
- Perform special procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status to manage care effectively.
- Participate in team-based approaches to improve patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Tennessee RN license.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Previous charge experience is required.
