About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Maryville, Tennessee.
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Hours per week: 36 hours
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with higher oxygen demands, those undergoing dialysis, and patients with conditions such as atrial fibrillation and post-heart catheterization
- Monitor and manage patients post-ICU, ensuring safety and adherence to care protocols
- Administer and manage cardiac drips such as heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotolol
- Provide telemetry monitoring for patients with cardiac conditions
- Care for patients undergoing procedures and those with complex medical needs
- Assist with the management of oxygen therapy and high-flow nasal cannula
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Current TN RN License
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac telemetry nursing role
- Proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record system
