About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in New York City, New York. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and benefits including holiday pay, a 401k retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
- Adhere to strict sterile techniques and infection control measures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a MRI Technologist preferred
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between assignment locations
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards
