Travel MRI Technologist - $2,945 per week

About the role

This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients at a non-profit community hospital. The role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients.
• Ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Conduct scans of the brain, spine, extremities, MRCP, and occasional obstetric and stroke imaging.
• Operate Siemens Espree, Skyra, or Symphony MRI systems.
• Participate in cross‑training at a nearby outpatient imaging center (float).
• Maintain professional scrub attire (solid color, no graphics or logos).
• Respond to on‑call shifts as required (see Schedule).

Requirements

• Washington state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT‑MR or ARMRIT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care MRI experience performing general scans (brain, spine, extremities, MRCP, occasional obstetric scans).
• Experience working independently.
• Comfort with starting IVs (preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens Espree, Skyra, or Symphony MRI units (preferred).

Skills

• Ability to work independently and autonomously operate MRI equipment.
• Proficiency in starting IVs.
• Comfort working solo and managing on‑call responsibilities.
• Familiarity with cross‑training in outpatient imaging settings.
• Strong attention to detail for high‑quality diagnostic imaging.
