The role requires ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Job Details Position Description: MRI Technologist responsible for conducting MRI scans, including MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, Defecography, anesthesia, and pacemakers, following departmental protocols and safety standards. Required Qualifications: ARRT Certification, BLS Certification, graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program, location in Anchorage, Alaska, 0 years of experience. Schedule: Nights shift, 10-hour shift, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with MRI registration and 3+ years of experience will be considered first. Additional Information: The unit has approximately 185 beds with 2 prn and 1 cross-trained tech. Responsibilities include patient positioning, performing scans, and adhering to department policies. This role does not require float rotation.
